David Mania Worhtington’s portraits are raw, highly-focused, and an honest depiction of the diverse and benevolent face of the midwest. Many of his portraits were taken here in Downtown Evansville, or the surrounding area.
David lives in Evansville, is a high-school english teacher for Henderson County High, and graduated from Depauw University in 2008. He is a lover of orange shoes and taxidermy.
Join us at 7:30 pm for a special acoustic session with Columbus, Ohio’s Jakob Freely. No Cover. 1/2 price drinks from 7pm-8pm (dine in only) Check out more @ Facebook.com/JakobFreely.
FRIDAY… 6pm until you leave! We’ll be packed and enjoying the sounds of Junior Smalls and the Criminals making a stop in E-town here. PLEASE HELP US support them and come out
Make plans to be at Penny Lane from 6pm to 9pm for a great concert treat…Junior Smalls and the Criminals will be filling the shop with songs about life and all its intricacies, irreverent odes to friends passed away, and nostalgic tunes about places dear to the memory, Junior Smalls and the Criminals want to bring you some music that makes you feel good about the strange journey that is, as Embrace put it, our ‘dance of days.’
They are a catchy new power pop outfit from the Midwest, fronted by producer John ‘Junior Smalls’ Randall, who is an odd music machine to say the least. With childhood fascinations ranging from The Smiths to NWA; Dinosaur Jr to Public Enemy; Junior Smalls is a musician formed through years of experiences so varied and polarized that even he struggles to understand how they all came together.
Check out the sounds and come out for a night of great music, coffee and food! www.juniorsmallsandthecriminals.com
We want our staff to be able to celebrate 2012 and not have to wake up early… so we’ll be closed this Sunday Happy New Year’s everyone!
We were THRILLED with the number of artists, musicians and people that came out and supported the 1st annual ART & MUSIC fest! We appreciate the support and raised almost $600 for local charities…which means a lot this time of year. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for making this 1st annual event a success and we look forward to bigger and better things next year
